About Me
- Name: Steve
- Location: Washington, D.C.
Welcome to the world of a 43 year old gay dad who shares his life with an extremely tolerant partner of 18 years and a 7 year old son. I love movies & music, am learning the basics of football and can’t understand the fascination with golf. But most of all, I love to write. Originating four years ago from a recap on the American Idol finale, this is what my thoughts have morphed into...for better or worse. And how did the blog come to be named the Hygiene Chronicles? It's a great story!

What beautiful color. I love that dash of Fall in your yard. It is one of the things I miss about living in the Midwest. Here the change happens so fast there really isn't a change and we only have pine and palm trees in our yard.
Pretty!
Yeah, fall suffers from guilt-by-association with me, too. Damned winter....
What kind of tree is that?
I love the color. All the leaves are mostly gone here now. Fall is my favorite time of the year
Great picture of a beautiful tree. I love autumn because of the colors and smells, but hate the fact that snow is around the corner. Enjoy the leaves while you still can.
I love your backyard. It inspires me to post a similar picture, except I don't have much winter color going on back there yet.
Awesome. I miss seasons.
i love fall, and the reason is for your tree. We live in New England and the colors are just breathtaking. LOve your blog to, thanks for sharing.
We never experience fall in our country because we only have 2 seasons here. The color of your tree is wonderful, we only see green leaves here. thanks
